Almost all women are concerned with having a fashionable make-up that gives glamour to their complexion, the features of their faces, especially now when we're just days away from the Christmas holidays and New Year's. Of course that the make-up differs according to the current season and let us see what the experts have prepared for us or what they recommend. And the make-up lesson begins.

First of all, the one thing that has the ultimate power nowadays is the red lipstick. Haven't you seen all the celebs lately? Red lipstick is on everybody's lips, literally. So nude is out and red is in! As for the eyesyou could go with romantic eyes: monochrome shades of lavender, mauve, dark grey. You could also play a little with the light and shadow using light foundation and just a hint of chocolate. Be elegant with matte or satin shadow and powder to highlight your eyes and for a better definition of your cheekbones. I shall provide a few alternatives for you, just to be sure you dazzle your way through these holidays.

Red lips

A vengeful red is out there and is coming to get you! This season, the accent seems to be on the lips and what better to reflect that than the bright, deep reds in matte or satin, in vibrant coolers ranging from scarlet to crimson to plum to vermillion and beyondWe have two examples here: the Shiseido sensual reds and the Yves Rocher intense red.

Shiseido's lipsticks provide shimmering lips and the inspiration of Tom Pecheux (make-up artist at Shiseido) came from the porcelain's purity: "I was influenced by the sheer purity of ceramics, and the detail of the painting, and used it to create lip color." These lipsticks give shine and reduce the little wrinkles or whatever imperfections you may have. Go here for more info.

Want irresistible lips? Try Yves Rocher's lipstick which contains vegetable copaiba resin for resistance and durability. See it better following this link.

Fairy eyes

Shimmering pearly shades of indigo, copper and khaki will make you shine and enchant with one single glance as your eyes will sparkle like jewels.

I'll mention here the look suggested by Tyen which is bold and delicate at the same time and you will "sport" a magnetic eyes effect with the electric blends of shimmering violet, turquoise and green. Check it out here.

Chocolate powders and eyeshadows

Chocolate hues are very popular these days as they can bring light to a pale autumnal face. For the cheeks, use a milk chocolate nuance and for the eyelids, a dark chocolate one. Make-up artist Bobbi Brown says: "Chocolate is a new classic. It gives a sensual, yet fairly understated look."

Compacts

Fantastic eyeshadows that give you the possibility of being really creative in using them. You can use them separately or combine them to achieve extreme originality. Here are some examples.

So there you have it! Let what I've wrote inspire you and make you feel merrierho ho ho.
