New makeup means making a transition from your old look to a newer look. Most women are searching for ways to switch up their style every few weeks to twice a year, depending on the individual. The reason why we don’t see ourselves in the same manner as two years ago is because realistically, we are wearing a new type of makeup and each one is different. The old lipstick you were using for a few years has recently been replaced by a light pink hue, made by Maybelline. Here are some new makeup trends for 2011.
Pick up some red lipstick. Wearing this during the summer is fine as long as you keep your eye makeup light. I recommend using Covergirl’s Queen collection for red lipsticks. They provide rich and vibrant color, while keeping lips moisturized throughout the day. Add the final touches with some Covergirl white eyeshadow and you will surely bring out your true beauty! This look is suitable for the day time but it is better to wear during the night life. Red lips in the night are exceptionally sexy.
A current and popular product on the market is the sparkle eye shadow stick by Avon. You can create the ultimate playful look by also adding  faux, long lashes. Add another beauty product to complete this style by using the body sparkles. Placing sparkles on your arm and neck area will have you ready to go! This new look actually came out a few years ago and the trend was set by young hipsters. It eventually spiraled to young adults and is also a familiar look in the clubbing scene, especially with the sparkle look.
Another look that have been around for ages and is still popular is the smokey eye appearance.  This is an intense look that many of the fashion fanatics use. There are many new makeup trends but this one always comes out with a different twist every year by experimenting with different hues. You can easily touch up your eyes by applying dark eye shadow along with a light brow shading. By using eyebrow shadow, it will create the perfect look as a sexy, dark vixen but be sure to not go overboard with any lipstick. You always want to accentuate one feature instead of two. Like they say, less is more!
The all bronze look is a natural way to grab attention without adding too much makeup. This look is fairly new and by adding a creamy, light foundation with your favorite light pink lipstick – you will spark a genuine look. Be sure to only do your lips though because the bronze look usually doesn’tgo well with the eyes unless you alter your makeup appearance to match.
Go with all pink to show off a complete feminine style. Coral pink lipstick is perfect for this look but you can also use the same lipstick for all of the new makeup trends. Paint your long nails a deep pink color as well and attach any designs you would like. Don’t add smokey eyes or anything like that or it will ruin this appearance. You should be adding a light hint of blush to your cheekbones.
